Mark is a photographer, videographer and digital imaging specialist. He works across commercial, architectural, and location-based photography, bringing a considered visual approach shaped by years of experience and the practical realities of shooting in the field and studio. His video work follows the same ethos: technically grounded and designed to serve real communication rather than spectacle.
Comfortable on both Windows and Linux, Mark has shifted away from the increasingly restrictive Adobe ecosystem, choosing instead to build a workflow around the Affinity suite and a range of other open-source tools. Mark enjoys creative problem solving; whether that’s applying a colour grade, solving a layout challenge, designing corporate branding, or building a staging site. Web development isn’t his main trade, but he’s competent, curious and good at navigating the messy middle where design meets technology.
Outside the work itself, Mark leans toward big ideas: history, politics, technology, and the nature of consciousness. He’s sceptical of easy answers, resistant to corporate spin, and is always driven by a steady interest in how things actually work — visually, technically, and philosophically.
