Melbourne Wandering
Ive always had a walk around camera. I love having a high quality image capture device in my pocket. I'm often stopped in my tracks by the quality of the light, or the conjunction of some geometric line, or the chance meeting of a stranger. Many people say that all you need these days is a smartphone but I disagree. I resent the fact that computational photography takes away my agency in picture taking. I want to choose the white balance, shutter speed and the aperture. Also, I find them frustratingly awkward and way too fragile.
