lucifer’s Minions
In this series I show the haunting stillness of toy angels suspended in shafts of light. For me this echo's the harrowing image of the Falling Man from 9/11. As he became a profound symbol of involuntary surrender to fate, these angels forms fall not in grace, but in grief. They are weightless, delicate and devastating. They flee heaven: the 200 who were cast out with Lucifer. Semyaza and Azazel who taught warfare, weapon-making, and cosmetics. The corrupter's of humanity.
